14. plato's atlantis

phase I    

The assignment was to analyze the narrative behind an Alexander McQueen collection and create an architectural concept for a fashion house to stage the show. Contrary to the interior model, this is a concept of the exterior structure and the first stage of Plato’s Atlantis; the intricate structure, built only with natural, organic materials, symbolizes the complexity of nature. The winding, open-air plan is shaped according to the contours of the hill to blend in with the landscape, leading the observer on a meandering journey through nature that is now fully evolved.
