10. architecture

Richard Meier took some of Modernism’s plain, utilitarian elements and emphasis on form to develop his own signature style. The Getty Museum in Los Angeles exemplifies this best, using these elements to create an array of buildings that are put to use as one system. Thus it becomes true architecture, as it engages human interaction through the meandering museum campus and mazes of galleries.
